    Paying for Enbrel

Does anyone know of any places that can  help pay for Enbrel besides the Enbrel (Enliven) site. My insurance has run out on what they pay for biologics and will not kick in till Jan. 2010.  I have help from Enliven services but they pay $760a month and that still leaves me with over $1200 and I cannot pay that.  Thanks. Terri

Lisa Emrich, one of our Experts, recently wrote a post on how to get financial help for meds - you can read that here.  The first couple of pages of the psot are drug makers' programs, but keep reading - there are other options that may help you.

i just got switched to enbrel from humira and my enbrel is free for the first 6 months and then 10.00 for the remaining of the year all due to a prescription card that the manufact. gave my doctor. I have insurance and if I didn't have the card it would be a co pay of 50 bucks a month... so look into the RX card. my dr gave me mine ask yours!! :)
