The Celebrex should help w/the pain almost immediately, but the anti- inflammatory benefits seem to take a little longer.  I take 400 mg of Celebrex a day, and I really notice if I miss a dose. I also take 10 mg of prednisone a day.  Are you taking any prednisone, Dan?  What other meds are you taking?

Best Wishes,

V

I think it must be an individual thing,  Celebrex barely helped me, I get more relief from OTC naproxen.

You are so right, Ruth.  Aleve helps me alot, but I just cannot tolerate it because of my stomach, but Celebrex helps me, too.  We all have RA and yet RA medications work so differently for all of us.

Blessings,
