I am just reading this post. I don't know if you are still taking methotrexate, but my doctor gave me a tip the first day he prescribed methotrexate to me a year ago. He said take it on Tuesdays and you can have a drink on Friday and saturday . Or take medicine on Wednesday and you can drink on Saturday and Sunday. He said most people drink on weekends and this gives the medicine time to exit befor alcohol and gives alcohol time to exit before next medicine dose. At least not so concentrated. I recently stopped methotrexate for other reasons. Hoping to find a doctor that will work with me on another medicine. Methotrexate has too many miserable side effects for me. I only stopped it to get rid of an upper respiratory infection. But it has been two months and still on antibiotics for it. My RA flare ups are back. But my well being and how I feel without the methotrexate is so much better. Hope you are doing well! Tammy
