Q: Positive: ANA test, RA (52), Rheumatoid factor and sed rate (all positive)

My 13 year old daughter is experiencing some faintings, her labs present Positive: ANA test, RA (52), Rheumatoid factor and sed rate (all positive) Does it means she has Lupus?  Some time ago she was eliminating proteins in urine, but now, she has alk phosp low (62)

There is no one test that is definitive in itself, though some make it more likely than others. Doctor's physical exam is important. Here is one link that might help.  You can also try googling any others to try and get more info, but the bottom line is to talk with the doctor, ask for copies of the tests, and ask what each one means.  (Hopefully, he/she will take the time, or give you some handouts.  If not, try your PCP after having the rheumy appointment.  You NEED to have your questions taken seriously.  The people on this site are not medical professionals, we have only our own experience, and the info we seek out, and each situation is a little different.  ANA can be positive for more than one disease, same for RF, and SED rate.  Did your daughter have an antiCCP test?  That is more specific for RA than any of the others you mention... but there are still exceptions.
