Q: RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR MOVING?

Hi, I'm a single 48 year old who was and has had severe Rheumatoid Arthritis since 1999.  Does anyone know of anywhere where I can apply for financial help to help me move 250 miles closer to my family when my house does sell?  It is currently listed for sale, but we all know how the housing market is.  I am seeking financial help for a mover to partially pack and move the heavy items in a semi in one trip.  Any advice or websites for this type of assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks and have a great day

do you receive social assistance of any kind? If so, talk to your worker about accessing help for moving. You may also want to contact your local chapter of The Arthritis Foundation as they may be able to give you some pointers. If you attend a church, talk to your pastor about whether some of the parishioners would be able to volunteer to help you. You may also want to talk to your family doctor or their nurse/nurse practitioner about community resources that can assist you in this matter.

Good luck!
