Diagnosed in January 07 with RA.

I would love to hear from anyone with both RA and Sjogren's. I currently take methotrexate weekly, my Dr wants to add either Enbrel or Humira to that.

I have Sjogrens and Rheumatoid Arthritis.  I currently take prednisone, methotrexate, plaquenil, and votaren.  I will be taking Orencia as soon as my health insurance approves it.  It is not unsual for your doctor to want to put you on Enbrel or Humira.  These are both wonderful medications that have helped many people.  I have found you some links that tells a little bit about the successfulness of both of these medications.  I hope this helps!

Hi,

I have had both of these for 26 years, they do have a pill to give you saliva which is a life saver, It is call salagen there is a newer one also but salagen is generic now.

I also take methrotrxate. I have taken it for 20 years, it didn't help me much until I went on Remicade, then I took it with Enbrel, I had no side effects, I am in a clinic study now and take it with what I am ggetting, I was in a wheelchair in 2000, Starting taking remicade had my joints replace and now I am up and doing lots of things I never thought I would be able to do.
