I had an ectopic in 2003 and when they realized it was ectopic, they gave me two methotrexate shots to "kill" the fetus. I had a horrible side effect and ended up in the hospital for a week. Then, it didn't work, so they had to do surgery anyway! Terrible stuff! Hope you get better!
