A higher RDW can be indicative of many different things such as a B12 or a folic acid deficiency.  Your RF is in the normal range.  Your sed rate is a little high which basically means that you have a higher amount of inflammation in your body.  Now it is possible to have Rheumatoid Arthritis without a high rheumatoid factor.  Now Mobic is a medication typically used to treat pain and/or inflammation caused by arthritis.  Your doctor may just think that you have arthritis instead of RA.  My advice to you is that if you feel that this may be an incorrect diagnosis you owe it to yourself to get a second opinion.  Some doctors will not diagnosis RA without a high RF.  Good luck and best wishes!
