I had a positive ana test many years ago and immediately my doctor said I had lupus so I got a second opinion and after more tests and evaluation of my symptoms it was realized  I had rheumatoid arthritis. I was told that you can have a positive ana with many different autoimmune diseases. I hope this helps!
