I checked the list of side effects in a couple places and didn't find any mentions of these kind of side effects. Remicade is a biologic medication and my experience, these drugs can cause a little bit of mental fuzziness for a day or so after the dose, along with fatigue and possible light flu-like symptoms. However, nothing long-termor permanent seems to be indicated.

Your hair loss is probably from the stress of your illness. About six months after my last flare up of uc I shed so much hair I feared i was going bald. I went to my dermatologist who said it is not uncommon to lose hair about six months after a major illness. Happy to say my hair has grown back. I have been on remicade for a year.
