Topics:Prednisone

I  have  been  on  5mg  prednisone  once  per  day and  20mg  methotrexate  once   per  week    for  eight  years. Will  my  adrenal  glands  fully  recover   once  i've  completely  stopped  the  prednisone  medication. How  long  will  it  take  to achieve  this.

I  have been  on  a   two  month  medication - reduction - exercise ( for  good  reason )   and  still  going  strong: prednisone - 3.75mg. Methotrexate - 15 mg,  associated  with  withdrawal  symptoms  ONLY! Is  it advisable  to  sumultaneuosly  reduce   both  medications?
