what is a "good" average humidity for RA sufferers? Moving to sw idaho..
I don't think it's the humidity as it is the temperature. Cold weather will really affect me. It's different for everyone. Good luck in your move.

well, i live in Arizona. don't believe everything you hear about "it's a dry heat". it's not. our summers are like walking into an oven! monsoon season runs from june to sept. that's the hottest time of our summers. temps run in the high 100's (108 to 116)... (actually we only have 2 seasons: (HOT and DAMN IT'S HOT)...
during monsoon, our humidity is in the 40 % range but the dew point is up in the 60's which makes dealing with the heat even worse. i hurt during that time but i did have a couple days (once every few weeks) where i didn't hurt. today it's 9% humid outside and our dewpoint it 12 degrees. I hurt. not tremendously but my knees are killing me and have been for a few days. I'm not sure whether humidity plays a role yet in the pain cycle, since i'm still new to this RA stuff. saturday was a good day. i had no pain and i was almost 'normal' and the temps were about the same...so, for me, i don't think it makes a difference. hope it helps! Desiree
