why does my spine never stop hurting

my upper spine started hurting around 11 years ago and has never stopped hurting,i did not get hurt and so i don't know why it stsrted hurting and why the pain never leaves 11 years later,its my upper spine its like a naughing pain,very aggrevating and has totally disabled me from my everyday life
