Q: Is there anything eles other than prednisone for Addison disease?

I am 52 years old. have RA,OA, and elipsy since I was 3 years old,but haven"t had one in 28 years.I take topamax to control it.I take evista,for my bones. I take Humira,and methotrexate,and Lorcets 650/10 3 times a day as needed for pain.I was diagnose in July of 08 with Addison. Then they put me on Prednisone and I gained about 50 pounds,my hip started messing up. The Dr.told me that it was from the prednisone and now i have to have hip surgery,on Feb 20,
