I have several pea sized lumps on my tongue and they have white blisters and are very painful. This has been going on for two weeks. This week, I have abdominal pain and some pain in my right lung. Has anyone had anything like this? I can't get in to see my doctor until next week. Thanks for any advice.

Did you tell your doctor your symptoms when you called? I, of course, am no doctor, but I have had my share of bad drug reactions. Plaquenil made my tongue sore, then it ended up with sore red bumps all over it. I called the doc and he had me stop the Plaquenil immediately. If you can't in touch with your doctor, you could call your pharmacist and ask if you should go to the ER. I'm not trying to be alarming, but I think you really need to see a doctor soon. Please let us know how you are...???

I would suggest you go to our Urgent Care center. It's possible that it is a reaction to your medication, but you symptoms are worrying enough that you should be seen as soon as possible. If your family doctor cannot see you, go to the ER or in Urgent Care clinic.
