I have been taking methotextrate since the first of Oct 2008 and had my first injection of humira the first of Dec. 2008. For the past week or so I have been noticing that my vision is becoming blurry off and on throughout the day. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this as well?

I have been on humira for almost 2 years and my vision is always blurry. I keep on going to the eye doctor and he says I have dry eyes and thats causing the blurry vision so he put me on restasis and otc eye drops. It is still just as blurry so Im going to see another eye doc and get a secone opinion. I suggest for anyone else experiencing this to also get a second or even a third opinion.
I'd love to hear some opinions on this as I just started on Humira (no MTX) about 12 days ago and the past two days I have had blurry vision episodes. I wear contacts and was wondering if the Humira was drying out my eyes. I have not asked my doctor about the blurry vision yet.
Yes I have but i am not on humira. At present i am on methotrexate 15 mg and ibuprofen, folic acid, fish oil tabs, glucosamin/condroitin, vit B-12, aspirin81mg, and mutivitamin. i have felt much better since starting these OTC supplements. i started them on 8/1/08 and truly do feel better. if i can only do something about my weight now!!!!. i do have to make an appt. with optometrist and inquire about occasional blurry vision.
i still have good and bad days. but not as many.
i have tree children and i am a homehealth nurse. it keeps me busy. that probably is good! Hope this has helped. good luck.
Yes, I have been paying more attention to my episodes of blurred vision. Thinking it was low blood sugar or something. It may very well be except it seems to occur on about the 2nd or 3rd day after I take Humira injections. I have been on Humira for a couple years and have had a problem with blurred vision all along. Now I am beginning to wonder if it indeed is the humira. Gloria
I just stared humira 4 days ago and YES my vision is very blurry and my eyes feel clouded over. I thought maybe this was just in my head. lol.
