I my don't have scleritis.  I don't mean to scare you, but scleritis can lead to blindness.  That being said, it you are currently undergoing treatment for it from a rheumatologist or a doctor you feel comfortable then you are on the right track and it can be kept under control.  If it does happen to get worse there is an eye surgery that they can do for you so you can experience relief, but mostly it is treated with steriods and able to be kept under control.  Please don't let the blindness part scare you.  That happens in a small percentage of cases, usually when it has no been caught or treated.  If I am not able to put your mind at ease, then talk to your doctor.  Talk with them openly and honestly and be sure to voice your fear and concerns. Your doctor should be able to tell you where you are in the disease and what he feels your long term treatment plan should be.  Keep your head up!  Good luck and best wishes!
