The short answer is yes, especially with the elevated rheumatoid factor.  It is common, especially in the early stages of RA.  I myself had pain and no swelling, which made it very hard for the doctors to diagnose.  But no worries yet.  A positive rheumatoid factor is indicative of many different things and I have included a link that tells a little more about that: http://www.healthcentral.com/rheumatoid-arthritis/c/53/15969/factor/   I hope that your rheumatologist appointment goes well, and pray that you do not have RA.  But please know that if you are diagnosed with RA we are all here for you whenever you need us and are only a click away!  I hope for relief for you soon!  Good luck and best wishes!
