Q: if no symptoms are visible but tests like RF and CCP are positive then is RA still diagnosed.

Hi Shahida,

That is a question we really cannot answer for you. We are not medical professionals. To dx RA it takes a thorough physical exam, a blood workup and a complete family history. No one item can postivily point to RA, I myself am sero-negative, but still have RA. This is something to really go over well with your doctor. There are also many illnesses that mimic RA . I wish you the best of luck on your next visit.

It's not clear why a doctor would ever order RF or CCP if there weren't symptoms suggesting an autoimmune disease.  You can read more about diagnostic criteria here
