In response to:

I agree with V to be cautious about stopping a med. I was feeling real good and asked my Doc about stopping oral MTX since I also take Enbrel injections. Being a smart Doc she told me to taper down from 8 pills a week to 6. I felt fine for several weeks, then noticed that my hands were hurting all the time. I went back up to 8, had to wait another month and now my hands do not hurt again. This disease just does not go away.
