Q: What meds are quick and affordable without insurance?

Okay so here is the situation any suggestions will help. I am 5 years into diagnosis and just came out of a pretty good remission. But I am FLARED now bad, and I have no health coverage for prescriptions. I need to know what to ask the doctor for on Friday that I can afford with cash, I need help quick and then to get me through about the next 4 months before I can get med coverage again. I just started a new school program and need to finish. NSAIDS not working anymore, and I am eating vicodin like candy :(. I need energy more then anything and to be able to walk again would be great. Thanks for any suggestions.

Talk to your doctor about this - be honest about your financial limitations. Your doctor may know of clinical trials or the programs that can help fund the meds you need. The drug companies also have programs for people of limited income to help them get the medications you need - you can find contact information on the different programs here.

Good luck!

prednasone (spelled it wrong) is the only thing cheap and quick that I can think of .  Meth is cheap but not quick and more than likely to  drag you down.
