Is there an alternative drug to methotrexate that does not have the alcohol dangers?

Hi, I am on plaquanil and sulfasalazine and have not had any problems regarding alcohol. It might be different for you though

Methotrexate is on one of the lowest rungs of the ladder of RA treatments, so you have a number of other options.the next time you see you rheumatologist, have a chat with them about other treatment options.

I loved sulfasalazine as well as penecillimine. I dont believe they have a warning...
