Q: I am currently on Short Term Disability through my work. Can I apply for SSI or SSD while on STD? Thanks for the help! Tamara

I have a friend who is on STD at the moment and is contacting an SSI lawyer to start her application. So...it appears one can apply for SSI while on STD.
