Hi I found your question while reseaching RA and canker sores. I too take Orencia and have noticed canker sores ever since I started taking it last year. I used to take Methotrexate years ago, nearly 10 now - It was stopped after my liver panel was showing changes that were harmful if continued.   I have found that the over the counter natural remedy called: gentian violet, helps these nasty things. You can get it at any pharmacy, (for only a couple of bucks also) you may have to have someone help you locate it though as it's not a well known product, and as well could be behind where the pharmacists work. You don't need a script though. It's also a bright purple color that will come off your skin, but not clothes or anything else so be careful with it. It's the only thing that helps my canker sores though.   Back to your question - do your sores ever make your throat hurt? I have cankers in my throat and am wondering if that's why I have a sore throat.   Tess
