Is there a link between Enbrel and Gingivitis?

Since I have been on Enbrel I have had nothing but bone and gum problems.  I have already lost 4 teeth because of bone loss and possibly more as time goes on.  My periodontist says gingivitis is causing my bone loss in my mouth and gingivitis is caused by infection so could this possibly be linked to the Enbrel.

Since these drugs can cause fungal infections, they can cause tooth problems. So can RA in itself if it has attacked your jaw. I know mine has.

I have been on enbrel for going on three years now and i have had no problems with gingivitis, actually it has literally saved my life.  I dont know how long you have been taking it and obviously the dentel probolems ur having are serious, but if there is any way that you can stay on it, i HIGHLY recommend it.  It has been the miracle worker in my life and given me back my body.  while things are not perfect and probably never will be, it still has given me a chance at life for the second time and i hope sincerely that it can do the same for you.
