To be honest, I don't know. I do know that certain painkillers can cause ringing in the ear, but it's possible it's not related to that. Have these symptoms just started since you got RA? I would suggest you speak to your rheumatologist or family doctor about these symptoms - your doctor may want to send you for a hearing test and there may be other things they can do to check out your symptoms.

I was diagnosed with RA in June 08. At that time I was burning in my feet, knees, hands/fingers (I know exactly what you're talking about). I also had some ringing in the ears. I don't take "pain pills" and I still have the burning sensation (although I don't think it's as bad) so I don't think it's related to pain pills but to the RA instead. I can't give you a medical explanation as to why but I can definitely relate.

I also have RA and I get the burning feeling on the bottom of my feet too. I don't know what causes it but it must be from RA. I know I'm not answering your question but it helps me to know I'm not the only one experiencing this
