Q: I've been diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue, Fibromyalgia, RA for 12 yrs, does Remicade work ?

Would Remicade infusion help Mixed Connective Tissue Disease? MCTD is an auto immune disease that over laps into several connective tissue diseases including RA. My symptoms are all of RA and more. Flare ups are brutally painful. Can someone recommend a Rheumatoid Doctor in the north dallas area. My rheumatoid doctor now says I have Fibromyalgia...lyrica did not help!

Sincerely,

agatha

I know next to nothing about that disease, but I did find a link with more information, including possible treatment options that indicates the Biologics are sometimes used for it, so it's possible. If you're looking for a doctor, you may want to try contacting the American College of Rheumatologists or The Arthritis Foundation.

Good luck!
