Dear IceDragon, You are having a flare. Take an Aleve or motrin or Advil in the evening and see if it passes by the morning. Aleve works really well for me. Stess or diet may have contributed to this occurrance. Arnica oil by Now brand in the health food store may help if you rub it into your hands a few tines a day. You can try soaking your hands in a tub of hot water and add some Epsom Salt. Common foods that contribute to a flare are milk, wheat, some nuts, red meat. But any food can contribute. Look up Leaky Gut on the internet to understand how an auto immune response begins as a result of foods or chemicals and why it may effect the joints.  Books I like and found helpful are The Autoimmune Epidemic and Eat to Live. Well worth reading. Green Barley Juice powder, Aloe Vera Juice, Digestive Enzymes on an empty stomach between meals, Boswilla capsules, Astralagus tincture in glycerine all from the health food store are anti imflammitory. Astragalus from Vitamin Shoppe is very helpful and takes down pain and swelling in my hands quickly. Start slowly with Green Barley Juice powder as it detoxifies but it is a superfood that will help healing.
