I had a new joint (bunion) and two-three growths removed on the small toe. After surgery I was given nothing for pain. Two-two inch cuts on my right foot. Is this standard proceure with RA patients?

As for my experience with RA some days pain medication is the only thing that can take even a little bit of an edge off of my pain. If your general pain is often daily I would ask your speacialist or general practitioner for a monthly supply of hydrocodone or oxycodone 5mg which either works well for me in my times of need. I don't feel one bit guilty or embarrased to say that I need my pain meds, people like us is who they are manufactured for.
