will taking folic acid with arava help the side effects like it does with meth?

I will be starting arava this weekend after having taken MTX for 7 months. My rheumatologist told me to go ahead and finish up the folic acid as it wouldn't hurt but that I wouldn't need to take it with the arava. Good luck with the arava, I'd love to hear how you are doing with it.
