I was on prednisone during my entire pregnancy with my twins. I had been off plaquenil for 9 months before getting pregnant. They drs just increased my prednisone. After I became pregnant I went into remission the entire time and even after the twins were born I was in remission until I stopped breast feeding. It was an incredible feeling. There are other medications her Dr can give her for the pain until she conceives. Best of luck.
