RA and surgery
Hi so I am still tryinging to find a med that works for my RA and my Dr called me back and said that I need to have my gall bladder removed right away. This will be the 4th surgery i've had so I am not to concerned with the surgery itself and I know its not to invasive I am just nevous because of all the RA meds. Any advice or suggestions?

Not sure if this helps. I have not had surgery since my dx. I did have pnuemonia and was hospitilized with that. They had me stop my Arava and upped my Pred to 120mg. Once I recovered I stepped back down on Pred and restarted the Arava.

I had to have knee arthroscopy last year. I had to stop taking my medicine 2 weeks before and 1 week after (enbrel, folic acid,arava). I hope this helps. Everything will be fine.
