Has anyone had RA affect the spine? Does anyone know of any literature or studies that show it affecting the spine?

I don't know any specific literature studies about RA of the spine, but it can definitely affect the spine, as well.  there's also a form of arthritis called ankylosing spondylitis that's an inflammation of the spine - you can read more about that here.

If there's a joint, then RA can affect it!

This may be more than you want to read...from an orthopedics textbook.
