I can only answer for my case, but no, Prednisone didn't make my BP higher. It has helped me more than any other treatment.  I have always had low BP until I was on Arava. It gradually went up until it got pretty high. It takes a long time for Arava to get out of the system, but finally the BP is down. A lot of meds probably change our BP. Side effects really suck. Bon
