I am no expert so ask your doctor next time you are in.  ON that note, my experience personally is that I work in a middle school, closely with students and believe me they are germ spreading machines.  I catch about one illness a year, usually in the spring, about the time our circulation system is trying to switch from heat to cool.  I do get a flu shot every year and other than that I just try to be careful if I know someone is ill to stay away as much as possible.  I also wash my hands carefully, although not with antibacterial soap, especially at school. I realize that not everyone is so lucky as I am with their immune systems.  Good luck.
