I went to see rheumy with a large lump on the inside of my elbow he told me that it was an inflamed tendon.  It isvery painful and does not go away.  He told me that the tendenitis is related to the inflamation from the arthritis.  I also have bersitis,I'm only 34 years old, I thought only old ladies got bersitis.  Also my siatic nerve will become inflamed every now and then and have had second and third opinions on why it happens and it all leads back to the arthritis.  So it totally makes sense that you would have tendonitis  in your knee..  Good luck to you and I hope that you feel better.
