Can RA give you a bad psa reading?

Just had a very high psa reading, and would like to know if RA can give a man a high reading on the psa test?

I couldn't find anything stating that RA had a direct link to a bad PSA reading.  That being said, and infection present anywhere in your body can.  Even if you have a infected tooth, that may affect your reading.  Right now a lot of doctor will perform the test again at 4 or 6 weeks after the first one to see if the result is the same.  Many times the PSA reading will have went back to normal at that time if the reading was not accurate.  You may talk to your doctor concerning this and see if he would be willing to test again or if he is planning to test again.  Keep your head up!  Good luck and best wishes!
