My RA developed right after the birth of my fourth child. An acquaintance also developed RA after her pregnancy. Is there a connection?

I dont know if it has to do with hormone levels but I did read something about RA kicking into overdrive after pregnancy. A month and a half after I had my second child I had major problems. I found out then that I had RA and had it for years it was just misdiagnosed as wearing bad shoes!
