Hi HS,
My first reaction when reading your question is that RA should not be a reason to avoid marriage. It is important to seek treatment for RA and try to keep it from becoming destructive and disabling. That should be done whether one is married or not.
If I have misunderstood your question, please let me know. I wish you the best in your relationship and considering marriage sounds pretty exciting. Good luck.
I have lived with JRA for twenty years and have tried all thoes pricarious medications and in my opinion it's easy to deal with the RA it's harder to accept that no man is ever gonna not be scared to be with us, espically when they could go find a healthy woman that can work fulltime and participate in everyminute of the realationship. I think if you Truly Love her it wouldn't matter, and if there is any doubt in your head about making it work (and a relationship is hard work) then you need to let her go and not lead her on. Be honest withyourself and with her! Good Luck!
You break my heart; everyone has problems and who is to say that you won't come down with some disabling condition. If you love her then be there for her; if you have doubts, let her go. I have a friend with Lupus; she is now divorced because although her ex told her he wanted to take care of her when things got bad he ran...I wish you the best...

Hi Lisa,
First of all thanks a lot for satisfying my query.
Great!!! It is really a great help for me. But I have heard that there is no any medicine available for permanent cure of RA. There are many side effects of medicines for temporary relief of RA. Those medicines are responsible for decreasing resistive power of body and that person is no longer live good life and also satisfies the partner. This is my understanding right now.
Can you please provide any comments if I am wrong.
Thanks once again.
