Brad I was on Enbrel for 3months and my eyes got blood shot and I had skin problems.  It didn't seem to be working as well as it should so they switched me to Humira.  I've injected twice during the past month.  For a day or two after I inject I get terrible stomach cramps and diarrhea.  Then that seems to go away and I feel great for awhile.  Towards the end of the two week period of time, I get achy, especially in joints I've had problems with and have also noticed my toes burn.  I think all of these drugs have side effects but they supposedly stop the joints from deteriorating by stopping the immune response.  Methotrexate injections worked really well but I like to drink alcohol socially and my hair was falling out so I nixed that drug after 4 months. ( requires blood tests every month too). I guess it's pick your poison and weigh if it's doing more good than harm:)  There are several choices out there but my Rheum likes Humira the best. Good luck, Lisa
