can mobic or methotrexate cause chest pains?

I have a heart condition and have experienced chest pain before but now that I am recently new at taking these 2 drugs I am now having chest pains again.  Did not know if this was caused from mobic and/or methotrexate or from my previous heart condition?  Thanks.

I don't know about mobic, but methotrexate can!  There is a very rare but potentially serious side effect  of methotrexate that can effect your lungs which can cause shortness of breath and/or chest pain.  If you are experiencing this you should contact your doctor immediately.  Really, regardless of the cause, and especially with your history of heart issues, you should be contacting your doc about this anyway.  Better safe than sorry, right?  Good luck!
