Q: Red Patches of Dry Skin

This past winter I have developed dry read patches on my knuckles on my hands not my fingers.  Only there.  Is this part of the RA or just a freak coincidence.

In my experience, the Biologics can make your skin very dry - I've been on Enbrel and I'm now on Humira and my skin is super dry in general and I do have patches of dry, red and very itchy spots. I'd recommend a good moisturizer like Aveeno and you may also want to talk to your doctor about it - they may be able to give you extreme and you can also ask for a referral to a dermatologist, just to check it out.
