Yes it can. It is an autoimmune disease that means it is systemic and affects your entire body not like osteoarthritis thats only bones/joints. Like V said call your doctor..... I did go to the doctor. They thought plurcey or some kind of a respitory illness but they don't know. I'm just sore feeling sore. I believe it was a diverticulitis bout. I'm still not up to par yet and not eating much but at least I'm back to work. I think my RA brings on these too and when it happens I just have to ride it out.
