It could be very possible. In my dominantly Spanish/Latin Heritage, I did a family chart/tree going back five generations on the matriarchal side of my family. Beginning with the first three generations, the family members that died of Ulcerative Colitis (Colon Cancer) all had RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis). So, as of today my mother and I both suffer from RA and well my mother does not have colon cancer, I will be getting checked February 2010 for colon cancer. I will be asking the doctors if this is coincidence or random. I will keep you all posted.
