My mother has RA

I'm a 21 year old girl and my mother has been living with RA for nine years now. The only thing she is taking for her RA is pain killers such as oxycodone and valuum for the pain. The doctors had her on methotrexate but it was making her too sick.  It is hard for me and her family to watch her suffer from this disease, but it is... Read moreChevron

MTX or hormones making my pre-teen sick?

My 11-yr old daughter was diagnosed with JIA in October of '08.  She is currently on a very low dose of 3 tabs/week as her arthritis seems to be non-existent.  She does however have hip apophysitis which concensus says is not related to the JIA.  My question is this:  she gets horrible headaches and consistently doesn't "feel... Read moreChevron
