dietary changes

I have a question for people who have stated that they have been helping their RA with dietary changes.  I have seen a lot of info stating that cutting out wheat is helpful, does anyone know what is the protein in the wheat that is suspected? New to all this...

THE Pain!!

I have really been in pain since Christmas ,  the pain med i am taking helps some but when i wake up the next day i'm almost  in tears trying to get out of bed, I am taking care of an 8yr.old nephew and i really enjoy doing this but these days i can't enjoy anything , my toes, foot, hands and ankle hurts My ankles hurts... Read moreChevron

Just diagnosed--treatments?

I am a 64 yr-old man just diagnosed with RA.  My physician has me on 15 mgs. predisone per day for 30 days and is then moving me to methatrexate.  Is this a typical treatment process and is there anything I should be asking him?Thank you.
