I am starting on Enbrel on 12/12/07

My name is Suzanne and I was diagnosed with RA at age 24. At age 36 I had a total knee replacement. I am currently taking methotrexate 2.5mg 8 pills,plaquenil 200 mg 2x daily and azulfidine 500mg 2x daily. Foot and ankle stiffness

I was diagnosed with RA almost 3 years ago.  Over the last 6 months or so, my feet and ankles are stiff, painful and unable to bear weight when I wake up or if I'm sitting for a while .  Once I walk for a few minutes, it slowly goes away, and I can walk normally.  What is this?  My rheumatologist wouldn't take... Read moreChevron

Recipe for rum soaked raisins

I read someplace that eating rum soaked raisins helps with the rheumatoid arthritis.  Does anyone have this recipe?  Has anyone tried it?  Does it really help?  Thanks!  Robin

Diet and RA

In an effort to try to have control over something in my life, I've decided that maybe I will try changing my diet to improve the RA symptoms.  The Humira is not doing what I thought it would.... Anyone have any suggestions for learning about suggested diets for those with the disease?
