stepping outside the box

Ok so my 1 year anniv of my RA dx is coming up on Oct. 8th and I am thinking WOW really a year already?? I mean i am doing waaaay better than I was a year ago. but at the same time I am thinking holy crap I am still hurting and faking that smile in public and I am still waiting for the "this is all a joke, boy was I wrong" shoe to drop. Slow it down!

Ok, I am experiencing VERY fast joint disfiguration. I am really starting to worry. it seems like every day I find a new lump starting. I have one finger that is curving out. I have done everything they have told me to do since I was diagnosed a year ago. Am I missing something here? Is the Remicade going to stop this from happening?

My 7 yr marriage didn't survive the diagnosis and I have... Read moreChevron

I'm new - and I'm afraid this is a bit of a rant :)

I tried to submit this earlier but it seems to have disappeared into cyberspace, so if it appears twice, I do apologize.   Before I get into my mini rant (perhaps not so mini by the time I get finished), let me just say that I know I’m lucky, and remind myself constantly that I am very lucky – my diagnosis was quick, I have a... Read moreChevron
