New to Ra

I have recently been diagonosed with Ra and haven't gotten my appt. with the rheumatiod dr yet don't know really what to expect is there anyone out there that can help me please. My regular dr had me on naproxen and that wasn't working stillin alot of pain and couldn't harldy walk went back and she put me on predisone it has helped... Read more Chevron

Living with pain

I have recently been diagnosed with RA. I am only taking prednisone right now. My dr has mentioned methotrexate and humara. I have been researching them and the side effects. I heard about a drug, LDN (low dose naltroxene). It is used for MS and Crohns both of which are autoimmune diseases. It says it will also help with RA

why my insurance was not enough

i had federal insurance and it was paying $3580.00 per remicade and they stoped my remicade because i could not get funding for $350.00 per month to supplement my insurance. is tis normal.
