The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has begun a safety review of tumor necrosis factor (TNF) blockers, a class of drugs that includes the medications Enbrel, Remicade, and Humira. The agency says the drugs are being reviewed for a possible link with the development of lymphoma and other cancers in children and young adults treated for juvenile idiopathic arthritis and Crohn's disease.
